As a number of Xbox 360 gamers have already discovered, the just released patch for Fallout: New Vegas makes holes instead of closing them. Download the patch and your saved games become unplayable.
“If you haven’t grabbed the New Vegas update on 360 today, we recommend you decline the update until the new one is live,” Bethesda said in a statement on its blog. “We’ll be sure to let you know when it’s up.”
Well then. As much as I love Fallout and Bethesda by proxy, this doesn’t surprise me! Hopefully they’ll make up for it with the contents of this patch by fixing Arcade Gannon’s annoying tendency to vanish into thin air…
Just wanted to post this on here to anyone that is prompted to update New Vegas. I wouldn’t want your classy wastelander’s games ruined. ;)
